Eternal Satisfaction
I'm finally content, but I wasn't always. Everything I've ever wanted out of life I've gotten--yet it was just never enough. Having attained one conquest, the thrill was too fleeting, and my striving heart would begin yearning for the next new interest--never, never to be satisfied.
But in the local churches I've tasted sweet satisfaction and peace within. I found what I needed, which was Christ, only Christ. I have learned how to contact the Lord in a personal way in spirit. What I get is God: the only One who is eternal, who is ever new, who fills all in all. In the local churches I enjoy God who is so real to me. Yes, I am finally content.
